Our Cat of the Month is Khleo!

Khleo came to our shelter when her previous owners refused to address her medical conditions- an eye that needed to be removed and a wound on her shoulder. The original rescue organization would not take Khleo back, and our vet refused to euthanize her. We stepped up immediately to help!

Khleo’s eye was successfully removed, her skin is now healed (although the stress of our adoption center can cause it to flare up), and she is ready for a forever home. Khleo is about 3 years old and would be best suited for a home where she will be the one and only queen. She is full of calico personality!

Our Dog of the Month is Sasha!

Sasha came to our shelter from a local animal control. She found her way there as a stray, but no one ever came forward to reclaim her. Sasha is about 4 years old and a sweet girl. She is a Chow mix who takes a bit to warm up to new people. She would be best suited in a home with adults. Sasha needs someone familiar with Chows (or similar breeds). She is full grown at 45 lbs.
